Her dining room has a collection of old typewriters, all open, an off-white resume paper in each. This one was in the corner on its own typewriter table. Open and lovely. I’ve tried to draw and paint typewriters before. Never quite felt right and so never liked the end result. This one, it was there to walk around, peak around its corners, and a good introduction. And the top down view was exactly what felt right. And so I inked it. And then I painted it. And next I will put on typewritten part names.
