The Kitchen Table March 30th Ink & Watercolor Fun
The Kitchen Table March 30th Ink & Watercolor Fun
Come make your own beautiful ink and watercolor scene captured in an 8x8 shadow box frame!
*Bring your delight for whimsical loose lines and splashes of color! We will learn, review, and practice simple line drawings to capture flowers (or other topics) of your choice. We will go over some beginning watercolor techniques and practice laying out our design and then creating our pieces to fit into the shadowbox.
*No previous experience necessary, just an openness to have fun and/or try new things! You will leave with your own ready-to-hang floral scene to decorate your wall, sit pretty on an end table, or to give as a gift!
We will be meeting at The Kitchen Table @ 2665 Riverside Blvd, Sacramento, CA 95818 on Sunday March 30th, 12:30pm to 2:30pm. See a sample at either Kitchen Table location!
Max participants: 10. Ages 10 and up. Please Register by Wednesday 3/26.
Note:
Provided for class use: Artist grade waterproof ink pens, watercolor brushes and artist grade watercolors for the group, and watercolor paper. These items are artist grade supplies and can be used and tried freely by all attendees (there will be a variety of tips, brands, sizes) during class, but will be collected at the end of the class.
We’ll snack and sip and have fun finding our one-of-a-kind flower power together! You’ll also get a printout with the list of supplies and the steps we take so that you can share the experience with friends, family, and/or any artistically interested children who would love to create something similar!
